The Horatio Nelson Onoto pen is a tribute to the life of England’s greatest hero who led English forces to victory against the combined French and Spanish fleets at Trafalgar in 1805. Nelson was tragically killed in the battle, but this pen celebrates his remarkable qualities of leadership and inspiration, which are still remembered every year on Trafalgar Day.
The Horatio Nelson Onoto is crafted from Victory Silver, a special refining of sterling silver which uniquely contains copper from Nelson’s flagship at Trafalgar, HMS ‘Victory’.
The cap is decorated in blue cobalt enamel over guilloché engraved silver, while the barrel is fluted to resemble Nelson’s Column, the memorial to Nelson in Trafalgar Square, London.
